Desert Rain

This is another digital landscape piece of illustration. I chose a wide canvas so as to help give the impression of vastness and depth when looking into the distance but also convey a cense of the sky closing in from above, as an almost suffocating mass. I wanted this piece to be more impressionistic in nature; the sky and cloud-cover being so most of all.

I used the combination of the main camel rider in the foreground to the right, the second rider in the distance to the left and the first shapes of a desert city in the far background to again help give the impression of depth.
